The Unknown Era: 0-354 years
Due to the War, we have lost all information about the Pakkeli and Kotiin during this time era. Plenty of conspiracy theories have sprouted up from the Unknown Era.
The War Era: 355-381 years
The earliest records of our history are during the Wars. Many Pakkeli clans fought for dominance over Kotiin. There were three main clans that fought during the wars: Reilu Clan, Sota Clan and the Valkoinen Clan. The Reilu Clan was the most peaceful. They wanted a fair democracy for the land and fair sharing of life. Viisas, their leader, worked discreetly. Her tactic was to manipulate the Valkoinen Clan and the Sota Clan to fight and eventually wipe each other out. She had tried reasoning with the both of them, but couldn't find a common ground. When it came time to fight, the Reilu Clan lost the majority of their battles. They only fought when they needed to so they never had a strong military presence.
The most violent of the clans was the Sota Clan. They wanted a world where there was free reign for everyone. No laws, no order. Just pure freedom. Hullu was a vicious woman. War, blood, and looting was her life. There was nothing that meant more to her than victory. Her sister, Viisas meant nothing to her. Hullu wanted nothing but bloodshed and to be the strongest Pakkeli. The Valkoinen Clan is the one who reigned victorious. Their leader was gifted with very light skin, unlike any other Pakkeli before her. Their leader was named Kesakuu. She was fair to her clan and to her enemies unless they betrayed her or hurt her people. The three clans fought for many years until Kesakuu ended everything. She had slain Hullu in a one on one duel using her superior wit. The Sota Clan was furious that their leader was slain and group by group, they were captured by the Valkoinen Clan.
Once the Sota Clan was mostly destroyed, the Reilu Clan surrendered to the Valkoinen Clan. The Wars ended various Pakkeli's lives and Kesakuu decided for war to no longer be a thing. When she became the first Queen, she placed harsh laws on violence, war, and crime. With that law, the War Era came to an end.
The Unification Era: 382-481 years
Uniting the Clans was far more of a daunting task than first realized. Many of the left over Sota Clan members fought the law and would often cause troubles. The Armed Forces were formed in this Era to hunt down the rebellious Sota Clan members. Those in the Reilu Clan grew tired of the monarchy and often fought laws with peaceful protests.
The majority of the current laws were made in this era. The first Queen Kesakuu passed away in the year 444. Her granddaughter, Vahva, became the second Queen. Under her rule, she smashed the opposition with ease. She created fair laws for the people and made sure to rule those troublesome Sota Clan members with an iron fist. People fawned over Vahva's determination to make Kotiin great.
During this era, the Pakkeli attempted to sail the oceans. Sadly, their ships vanished and the ones that returned swore they headed in the right direction. They remember the Pakaasu they met long ago, but gave up on reuniting with them.
Around 478, the Sota Clan members who sought violence finally vanished and ended their violent acts of terrorism. It didn't take long for the last members of the Reilu Clan to accept the laws of the Queen. The Unification Era ended with the birth of Vahva's daughter, Taide.
The Renaissance Era: 482-834 years
Now that the Clans have blurred into one community, the Renaissance began. Technology evolved, the civilization evolved, and the Pakkeli culture began to take shape. The Queens of this Era each led new ages of progress.
Queen Vahva from 444-569 continued to form the basic structure of the Pakkeli's laws. She was a fair queen but didn't like to take no for an answer. History has revered her for being the best political Queen they've had. During this time, Pakkeli were in small clans and tribes all over Kotiin. Each tribe had their own leader who listened to Queen Vahva. If any tribes had disputes, they had to speak with Vahva to settle it. The capital of Kotiin at this time was Glou.
Queen Tyyli from 569-640 inspired the world with art and food. She's the one who created the method to liquefy plants and other foods to make eating easier for Pakkeli. Before her method, Pakkeli manually had to mash plants and cook them over a fire. Queen Tyyli invented the first 'blender'. Of course her method was perfected overtime, but she was the first to make it easy. Everyone still resided in tribes during her reign but found themselves merging with other clans.
Queen Puoli from 640-706 set the country into a technological advancement. Industries were born and cities began to form around Kotiin. The tribe logic disbanded during Puoli's reign and a more country-wide logic was forming. In her reign, a small group of Pakkeli broke off from the rest forming their own tribe, the Degexit'an Tribe.
Queen Persikka from 706-801 continued Queen Puoli's reign of technological advancement. Television, computers and electronics were formed in this reign. Society slowly formed into what the Pakkeli currently have. (Their society is very similar to Earth's modern society).
Queen Pili from 801-833 was the last queen and the shortest reign out of all the Queen's. She didn't do very much to push the Renaissance. Her sister, Raaka, took over her reign when Pili 'mysteriously' died. It was only recently discovered that Raaka had murdered her sister. This ended the reign of the Renaissance Era.
The Strife Era: 835-884 years
Queen Raaka set the Pakkeli back by being in charge. She let chaos rule over the country by making shady deals with various large companies to put profit first. Poverty hit Kotiin hard and led to more crime in the cities. People revolted against Raaka as she slowly tore the work of the Renaissance to shreds. Queen Raaka had many children and ended up selling her children to the highest bidder in order to keep them from the throne. She broke down any who tried to oppose her, including the small Degexit'an Tribe. One child, Ranta, managed to lead a small rebellion against her mother. Along with Kevyesti, Pyhin, Ananas and Viaas, Ranta overthrew her mother at the ripe age of 25. Queen Raaka fell to the group and was jailed till her death. Ranta became Queen and ended the Strife Era.
The Golden Days Era: 885-present day
The first motion Queen Ranta did was establish the small council with her sister, Kevyesti. The first small council was formed of her allies, Kevyesti, Pyhin, Ananas and Viaas. Queen Ranta believed the small council would prevent the Strife Era to occur again. The first few years of her reign were rocky. People no longer believed in the Queen and Ranta needed to remedy this. She listened to her people and aided in abolishing the poverty. She soon became the best Queen in recent memory to the Pakkeli.
She cared very much for everyone, even criminals! She would listen to the small problems of the people and attempt to help. She made Kotiin enter a very profitable area. However, Queen Ranta had family issues. Her daughter, Petos, was a rebel who vanished once she gave birth to Minttu. No one knows what happened to Queen Ranta's daughter. Many assumed she just died or joined some gang.
Queen Ranta's glorious reign was coming to an end, however. Queen Ranta's health was never that strong and she passed away in 952, at age 98, a very early age. The whole world mourned her death, despite that some disliked her. The small council ruled for 8 years until the young Minttu came of age. Now that Minttu has come of age, she has become Queen, following in her grandmother's footsteps.
In 959, Iho Palla was discovered. Later on in that year, the Pakaasu were publicly announced. The previous year, the government sent ships to explore the world to find more life. They had found the Isles and the Pakaasu. The government kept it secret to try and determine how to break the news. In doing so, the Valkumous, a small terrorist group, began to rise and use this information against the government. Using Maa, a Pakaasu they captured, they were able to create Iho Palla. The government, discovering that the Pakaasu were used in this way, announced the origins of Iho Palla and the Pakaasu. Currently, they have no idea how to feel about the Pakaasu. They returned Maa back to her Isle and Clan.
Later in the year 960, Valkumous began their harassment of the people of Kotiin. Though, something changed. A new species began coming to life and mysterious islands formed between Kotiin and the Isles. Now, many Pakkeli are able to visit the Isles and Kotiin is being flooded by Pakaasu. No one knows what will happen now that the three species can interact.
