Home of the Pakkeli
Food and Drinks
Pakkeli cooks don't make normal 'human' food. Since Pakkeli don't have teeth, they primarily drink their foods or have foods that are easy to swallow. Pakkeli cooks use raw ingredients and simply blend them up. There are many artifical flavorings and possibilities for textures. Even though it is liquid, it doesn't mean Pakkeli food is boring! Pakkeli CAN get drunk. Certain plants mixed together make alcohol.
Technology
In the cities, most Pakkeli live in apartments in towns, while those in the outer rims of the cities tend to live in houses. Despite the royal family looking very medieval, Kotiin certainly isn't medieval.
Compared to our world, Earth, Kotiin is very similar. Their technology is on par with our own, besides robots and intelligent AI. There are no big social media platforms, but there is the internet. Most of the internet is for news, entertainment, and businesses. Phones do exist, but the majority of phones are home phones (with the exception of the few rich and royal guard having mobile devices). Consider the level of technology akin to the 1990s/ early 2000s.
Love and Crime
Marriage and death are big parts of the Pakkeli culture. To get married, two Pakkeli must agree on the marriage. There is no proposal, no ring, just either a talk or some sort of creative idea to ask. Married Pakkeli sign a document stating their marriage and have a small celebration of family and close friends. Each Pakkeli wears a color of the married couple while the married couple wear clothes with each others goo color. Many people commission designers for these outfits. As for death, a Pakklei' goo is taken and placed in a glass jar. There, people can mourn and grieve over the glass jar. Those who attend a funeral wear clothing that represents the deceased person's goo.
Crimes in the Pakkeli culture are few but disturbing. In all murder cases, the culprit steals the other's goo. This can only be done when the Pakkeli has died. The goo sells very well in the black market, especially if it came from someone with long hair or rare arms. Crimes are usually solved quickly. Murderers, thieves, rapists and all other criminals are caught very easily due to the superb police department. Even in rural places, the police take their jobs seriously
Fame and Social Stigma
With the uncontrollable nature of the goo on Pakkeli, many have slight prejudices. Those with rare arms are revered and honored. Those with common arms are judged. It's irrational, but some people still fear the goo that makes them. Those with rare arms are usually paid very well since they are able to do a lot more physical things compared to others. You never see many rare armed Pakkeli doing jobs such as cooking, cleaning, government, or driving. Those jobs are typically for uncommon and common arms.
To be famous in the eyes of Pakkeli is rather difficult, but oh so rewarding. Musicians, models, and actors are all watched constantly. Pakkeli love their entertainment. Artists are idolized when they reach fame. However, if you don't make it big, there are no worries! Many Pakkeli love all forms of entertainment, even if they aren't the most popular thing this week.
History does not smile upon the Cruel Queen Raaka and the name 'Raaka' has become a toxic and evil name. If someone calls another 'Raaka' it is a very big insult. Naming a child Raaka is considered a social crime. Pakkeli who know someone named Raaka usually find another name for them to avoid insulting them.
Stained glass windows are precious things in Kotiin. Owning one is a sign of class and power. Many who commission them spend years working to get enough money to purchase one--for they are not cheap. Typically, the stained glass windows are passed down from mother to daughter and are designed with that in mind. At one point, the stained glass windows were reserved for the royals only; it is a tradition for a Queen to have one made in her reign. The following Queen has her coronation in the light of the previous stained glass window.

Siukset
A popular folktale that has been passed around for ages is of the 'Siukset'. It tells a tale of those with similar looks having bizarre connections with one another and not being blood related. It's said to be across multiple species as well. These connections could be an affinity for deep love or kinship, or just simply knowing when the other is in pain. No one knows if this folktale is real, but many people believe it to be true. There are some Pakkeli, Pakaasu and Pavesi that are Siuksets, but they are fairly rare.
The Rulers
The government is controlled by a small council made up of elected members. However, at the head of the council, is the Queen. Typically, the Queen's granddaughter inherits the throne. The Queen's daughter will be the "Princess" attending social events in place of the Queen and being the Queen's spokesperson. The Pakkeli used to only have a Queen but due to a past Queen (The Cruel Queen Raaka), the small council was made. She made horrible decisions and almost destroyed Kotiin. It took many years for the world to recover from the Cruel Queen Raaka. During their recovery, people struggled and began to loathe royalty. There is still some dislike for the royals, but Queen Ranta tried her best to change how people saw royalty.
Our current queen is Queen Minttu, granddaughter of the Great Queen Ranta. She has been in power since 957.
The current small council contains Mutristus, Kevyesti, and Ananas. The previous leader of the small council, Pyhin, was removed due to him fleeing and being a part of the Iho Palla Saga.
The Military
The Pakkeli are usually very peaceful, but they aren't dumb. They decided to keep up a military in order to be prepared. The leader of all three is Yijo.
All of the military forces have similar attire to Yijo. For a guide, please check this image.
Royal Guard: These are the members of the military who protect the Queen and the Council. They live in Yow so that they could protect them from a close distance. They are heavily trained and typically progress from the lower ranks. There are plenty of various roles in the royal guard, but they mainly consist of bodyguards and snipers. Any members of the Royal Guard dedicate their lives to their work.
Armed Forces: This part of the military is similar to the army and the FBI. They handle the wars that ever sprout out (which they haven't had to do since Queen Raaka's reign.) The majority of their job is spent investigating the bigger crimes or big plots against the well-being of the country. The Armed Forces exist in the major cities.
Police: The police are just like the Police on Earth. they take care of more 'minor' crimes such as theft, murder, and whatever the Armed Troops don't take care of. The Police exist in all major cities and the suburb areas. In times of crisis, the police fall under the command of the Armed Forces.

Cities
- Yow (the capital): This is the most populated city in the world. It's surprisingly green and very intertwined with nature. This city is full of everything and anything. The small council and the royal family reside in the heart of Yow. There are a lot of government locations in the heart of Yow, but it does not make Yow strictly government central.
- Hirko (the frozen city): Living here is similar to a death sentence. It seems to be an eternal winter. But this is the place to live if you enjoy crafting anything! People learn trades here in this harsh winter. Day to day life is all about making as much use of daylight as possible. Nighttime is impossible to work in. In the capital, those who lived in Hirko are viewed as extremely strong, both emotionally and physically.
- Lolo (the desert city): Party, gambling, and the gritty sand! This is the city that never sleeps. Musicals, casinos, anything you could wish for is in this city. Day to day life is just about partying and enjoying the moment. In the Capital, people from Lolo are viewed as party animals.
- Nubui (the rain forest city): Everyone knows this is the vacation location of Kotiin. Those who live here typically work in the tourism. The climate is always nice year round! Day to day life involves dealing with tourists all the time. In Yow, people who lived in Nubui are viewed as very relaxed and mellow.
- Asara (the rundown city): The city is always struggling with poverty. It happens to be in a very inhabitable place of Kotiin. They can't ever seem to grow crops so they rely on other cities very heavily. Day to day life is just surviving. People who live here aren't criminals (except for the rare few) and don't mind sharing. In the capital, people who lived in Asara are viewed as hard workers who made something of themselves.
- Fidelio (the crime city): Unlike Asara, this place is full of criminals. Practically criminals run this city. If you live there, it is a common understanding that you are a criminal or related to one. Day to day life is also just surviving.. in a different way. They must fight to keep what they have. In Yow, people who lived in Fidelio are treated as possible criminals and face heavy prejudice.
- Kolob (the glamor city): All the world's famous stars live here! This city is full of wealth and interesting trends. Life is nothing but luxury here. Day to day life is full of pampering and spending money. In Yow, people who have lived in Kolob are viewed as rich, fabulous and often idealized.
- Degexit'an Tribe: Between Kolob and Fidelio lives a tribe of Pakkeli who never jumped into the technological advancements of the rest. There are awful rumors about the Degexit'an Tribe kidnapping and killing Pakkeli who get lost in the forest.
- Claster: If you want to be alone from the world, Claster is your place. This mining town is full of brilliant jewels and jewelers. Besides from getting away from the world, Claster is the best place to snag up some beautiful jewelry at low prices!
- Mizuxe: There isn't anything special about Mizuxe. The town is rather calm and peaceful. They haven't made their stamp on the world yet and don't seem to have any desire to.
- Bioyimo: This is the technology capital of Kotiin. Most people who live here work with technology in some shape or form. This town looks a lot more futuristic than the others and glows brighter than all others. In terms of how their technology looks, it's very sleek and shiny.
- Jovaphil: Although each city and town grow crops (besides for Asara), Jovaphil is THE place to get the best ingredients! The land is rich, and Pakkeli here generally love growing food.
- Glou: This historical town was once the headquarters for Valkoinen Clan. There are endless ruins and ancient things to explore in Glou. There just seems to be more and more information about the Pakkeli's past discovered here.
- Quiso: Looking for things made with an experts hand? Quiso is the land of artists! There is an Artists Guild in Quiso which anyone can join! Many crafts are taught here such as glass window making, painting, music, and more!
- Aloidia: Welcome to the best place to vacation! This tropical town loves tourism and is the most exclusive place to vacation. The royal family even owns a vacation home here! In order to vacation on Aloidia, you must apply about three months before you can travel there so this place has been reserved for the rich.
- Gacru: This town is very closed off to the rest of Kotiin. This town is average like Mizuxe but hosts a lot of Kotiin's military force. It just so happens to be the training grounds for every branch of the military.
- Locob: Want to see the glam life without making your way to Kolob? Locob is the next best place to go. Many films are shot here and it's slowly becoming the next big place for entertainment.
- Meoizle: If you want to gamble, Meoizle is the place to do it! Although Lolo is the gambling and party captial, Meoizle is for more...dangerous gambling. It's very illegal what they do, but somehow avoid getting caught. Meoizle is the quickest place to earn some money or even love.
- Kaloolom: This small town is the hub of fashion. Many major designers are located here.
- Yokovich: Care for some amusement? This town hosts the only amusement park in all of Kotiin! Starry Land is a fun place for the whole family. However, recently it seems to be degrading in quality and more crimes seem to happen. No one quite knows why.
- Mizule: This is the town of flowers! All sorts of beautiful flowers bloom in Mizule. Some gardeners here are even trying to make new flowers genetically!
- Ferirama: Education is the life of Ferirama. Kotiin's best college is situated in this lively town. If you are looking to learn about anything, this is the place to go!
